Test Day: Failure followed by Success

At first, we wanted to involve the use of my RC helicopter, but we weren't sure about the requirements. We decided then to go completely original. We took an old dodgeball, cut it in half and made some grooves for the egg to fit in. Then we taped the two halves together, and dropped it. The egg broke. We then stuffed it in a cone with Styrofoam to soften the landing. The egg was protected perfectly, but the height of our design exceeded the height limit by 3 centimeters. We decided to get rid of the cone altogether and just add Styrofoam to either side and just drop it, It seemed to work perfectly with having a small size and being very light in weight. I think we found our end product. Needing some touch ups, but overall I think we have a good chance at the title.

Wes taping up our cone adaption that ended up
exceeding the height limit.
